The founding RoboVoTech cohort runs September 8 - November 30, 2026 for students in Santa Rosa Beach, Walton County, and Northwest Florida.

Founding cohort dates

September 8 - November 30, 2026. Coursework requires staff-approved dashboard access and uses protected browser-only synthetic fixtures and simulations.

120-hour format

48 curriculum simulation hours (40%) use protected browser-only synthetic fixtures/simulations; 72 online/project hours (60%) cover preparation, documentation, and project work.

Weekly rhythm

Students should expect regular online work, protected simulations, project milestones, and progress reviews.

Open house date

Open house events will include a protected browser-only program overview, expected founding-cohort project deliverables, instructor Q&A, and partner information.

Employer demo day

The final cohort milestone should include capstone presentations and short demo clips that can be shared with partners.

Location

Coursework uses protected browser-only synthetic fixtures and simulations. It provides no live robot/runtime/production authority.

Milestones

Suggested 120-hour cohort flow

  1. Orientation: goals, safety, tools, baseline skills, and program-interest review.
  2. Foundations: AI, robotics, hardware, sensors, motors, and workflow concepts.
  3. Build phase: automation, prompting, AI agents, computer vision, and robot activities.
  4. Capstone: plan, prototype, troubleshoot, document, present, and share.
